Printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308gsm.

The Sulphur-crested Cockatoo (Cacatua galerita) is the cleaner, lighter note of the tropical collection: bright white plumage, a sharp dark bill, and a clear yellow crest that lifts when the bird is alert. A large, long-lived parrot of eastern and northern Australia, it is one of the most giftable prints in the group precisely because it works two ways at once. It suits the bird lover and it suits a neutral interior, the white plumage carried on a warm ivory ground so the piece stays soft rather than stark.

The plate shows the cockatoo perched on a eucalyptus branch, the raised yellow crest reading clearly against the pale plumage and calm background. It is rendered in a contemporary Audubon-inspired natural-history style with a soft paper-grain finish. That lightness makes it an easy fit for a sunroom, a garden room or an Australian bird collection, and it is the natural choice as a cockatoo owner gift. Paper and finish

Unframed prints come on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308gsm, a heavyweight cotton rag with a soft matte surface and true archival life. The surface holds fine lines and subtle colour gradients without glare, which matters for Audubon-tradition work where the cream ground needs to read as paper, not as a white field. The framed option is set in a classic moulding, glazed and ready to hang, in black, white or natural.

Sizes

Available as archival fine-art prints in 8x10, 16x20, and 24x30 inches, with framed and unframed options where available.
